Participation in our programs and requires full understanding of the risks. Accidents and injuries can happen in any sport. All participants must have a parent or guardian sign waiver/release form. Click to print a waiver.
We reserve the right to limit activities in the gym and on the equipment at any time. Safety is important to all of us. Instructors give safety instructions regularly.

Students may also attend an open gym session in place of a missed class. Absences must be made up in the same session the absence occurs. Make-ups can not be used by another person.
Snow/Inclement Weather
You may listen for snow closings on radio 1400 am, or call our office and hear closing announcements on our phone messaging system. Make-ups for snow closings will be announced and printed in our monthly newsletters. (We may not always follow Racine Unified closings. Before and After Class
Students wait in the locker rooms before class. All should use the bathroom before class. Teachers will call the students out when it is time to begin. Children are not allowed in the gym or on equipment before or after class. It is alright for a parent to accompany a reluctant child in the gym the first time. If you sense they may be hesitant, arrive a little early the first few weeks so they have a chance to look around and settle in. This can occur with any age child. After class, please be prompt in leaving the gym.
Student Conduct
Children causing problems in class are not only a safety hazard to themselves and to others but greatly reduce the efficiency and control of the teacher. Students will be given a "time out" from class to compose themselves before further participation. Parents will be notified if there is a continuous problem. Parents may be asked to assist a child to keep them with their group.
Open Gym, Group Visits, Birthday Parties
RGC offers other activities in addition to its year round classes. These include open gym, birthday parties, group visits, and special holiday clinics. A fee is charged and may be prorated for current students depending on the activity. These special events are supervised and the structure ranges from open exploration to structured. Scheduling is subject to gym availability and may change due to competitions, holidays, or school events. Check the schedule in our monthly newsletter, call the office for details.
